LADY BRONCS PROUD OF
NEW DIGS EDINBURG, TX-The University of Texas-Pan
American's women's basketball team is enjoying the best start in school history
in spacious new team facilities. "The new facilities are a big plus," said
UTPA Head Coach DeAnn Craft. "With the new facilities, we now have access to a
first-class locker room, team room and office suite. It's important in
recruiting, it shows us that the administration stands behind our program, and
it also gives us a competitive advantage and levels the playing field with our
opponents." "At The University of Texas-Pan American,
our athletic department remains vigilant in regards to our efforts to establish
a nationally-respected and competitive NCAA Division I athletic program," said
UTPA Director of Athletics William J. Weidner. "The new facilities for our
women's basketball program are further evidence of that commitment. We are very
excited about the future of Lady Bronc basketball and look forward to continuing
our efforts to support our coaches and student-athletes as we work together to
establish a solid foundation for the future." |
