The University of Texas-Pan American Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has partnered with the UTPA Alumni Association to present the Pan Am Golf Classic, which will be held at Los Lagos Golf Club in Edinburg, TX, on April 27th with tee times set for 1:00 p.m.

The Pan Am Golf Classic will feature six different playing packages that sponsors and advocates of UTPA can select. All packages include green fees, lunch, dinner, cart, range balls as well as drinks throughout the afternoon. There will also be $2,000 in Pro Shop certificates in each flight during the Pan Am Golf Classic.

The sponsorship packages include:

Ace Sponsor ($7,500)
Four two-man teams (eight players); golf shirt for each player; name recognition in press release; prominent placement of corporate signage; distribution of promotional items in goody bag; corporate logo/mention included in TV, radio and print advertisement; and hole signage.

Eagle Sponsor ($5,000)
Three two-man teams (six players); golf shirt for each player; placement of signage at registration area; distribution of promotional items in goody bag; corporate logo included in print advertisement; and hole signage.

Birdie Sponsor ($3,000)
Two two-man teams (four players); golf shirt for each player; distribution of promotional items in goody bag; corporate logo included in print advertisement; and hole signage.

Par Sponsor ($1,500)
One two-man team (two players); golf shirt for each player; distribution of promotional items in goody bag; and corporate logo included in print advertisement.

Beer Cart Sponsor ($1,000)
Cart signage

Hole Sponsor ($500)
Hole signage

In addition, the UTPA Bronc Basketball Alumni Association will also raffle off an Alaskan Cruise for four guests at the Pan Am Golf Classic at 6:00 p.m. There will only be 400 tickets sold for the Alaskan Cruise and all proceeds benefit UTPA basketball scholarships in the name of Sam Williams - the all-time leader in career wins and a 2007 UTPA Athletics Hall of Fame Inductee.
