July 17, 2006 The UTPA Department of Intercollegiate Athletics will host a fundraising event called `Have a Ball!' which will be sponsored by Capital One on Thursday (Aug. 10) at the Shary-Shivers Mansion. `Have a Ball!' will be a fundraising event to support athletic scholarships and will provide a variety of "beverages" as well as food sponsored by H.E.B. The event will take place from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. and tickets will be $35.00 per person.
