Nov. 8, 2006 The University of Texas-Pan American men's and women's basketball will have their games broadcasted over the airwaves courtesy of BMP Radio for the upcoming 2006-07 season. The Broncs will have all of their games broadcasted while the Lady Broncs will have 10 contests that can be heard courtesy of BMP Radio. Alex del Barrio will be the voice of the Broncs and Lady Broncs for the second consecutive season as he will handle the play-by-play assignments during the 2006-07 campaign. Kristyna Mancias will also be on-hand to cover several of the Lady Broncs contests this season as well as the men's basketball season opener on Friday (Nov. 10) against Incarnate Word. Faithful of the Broncs and Lady Broncs can hear the games on ESPN Radio 1240AM along with Real Country 102.1 and Jammin 104.9 for this upcoming season. In addition to listening to the Bronc and Lady Bronc contests courtesy of BMP Radio, Tony Forina will host both of The UTPA Coach's Show where Valley faithful will have an opportunity to listen to insight from head men's basketball coach Tom Schuberth and head women's basketball coach DeAnn Craft. Craft can be heard on-air every Thursday at 5:00 p.m. beginning on November 9th while Schuberth will be heard on Fridays at 5:00 p.m. beginning on November 10th prior to their season opener against the Cardinals of Incarnate Word at 7:00 p.m. Fans are encouraged to check the UTPA website for airtime schedules of the Broncs and Lady Broncs this upcoming season.
