Nov. 29, 2006 The University of Texas-Pan American Department of Intercollegiate Athletics will be hosting a party at Buffalo Wild Wings on Friday (Dec. 1) to watch the Bronc basketball team square-off against the University of Iowa. The game will begin at 8:00 p.m. on ESPN Full Court so faithful of the Valley's squad are invited to join the UTPA Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at Buffalo Wild Wings on 4021 North 10th Street in McAllen for the festivities. A section will be roped off for all Bronc faithful where fans will an opportunity to watch the Broncs and Hawkeyes battle in the first round of the University of Iowa Hawkeye Classic. The Broncs, who are currently 5-1 on the season, will take the floor for their biggest challenge this season when the square-off against Steve Alford and his Hawkeyes, who enter the contest with a 3-3 record. The UTPA Department of Intercollegiate Athletics will also provide giveaways as well as give the UTPA faithful an opportunity to visit with other Bronc fans. Fans are encouraged to come out and support your Broncs at the University of Iowa Hawkeye Classic.
