The University of Texas-Pan American, a NCAA Division I Institution, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Baseball Coach. These two full-time 12-month positions will assist the Head Coach in the organization, management, and administration of a NCAA Division I Baseball program.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Practice and game coaching, recruiting of student-athletes, monitoring of the academic progress of the program's student-athletes, conditioning, summer camp, community involvement, public relations and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred; a minimum of three (3) years of collegiate and/or professional level coaching experience; demonstrate effective organizational, supervisory, promotional, recruitment and budget management skills. The successful candidate will be a person of integrity with high ethical standards and exhibit a strict adherence to NCAA, university and departmental rules and regulations as well as a solid commitment to student achievement in academics.

Head Women's Golf Coach

Assistant Athletic Trainer
The University of Texas-Pan American, an NCAA Division I Institution, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Athletic Trainer. This is a twelve month position with a $13,000 stipend. Primary responsibilities will involve assisting the Head and Assistant Athletic Trainers in the day-to-day operations of the Athletic Training Room. Start date is negotiable.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting in the organization, management and administration of all aspects of the Athletic Training Program; supervision, injury care and rehabilitation of 14 sports in men's and women's intercollegiate athletics; team travel as assigned; supervision of undergraduate student-athletic trainers; may also assume weight room supervision duties.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; Required Athletic Trainer Credentials: 1. Hold a Texas State Athletic Trainer License and be eligible to sit for the NATABOC Certification exam; OR 2. Hold NATABOC Certification and be eligible for temporary licensure in Texas. Must have working knowledge of therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation techniques; strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills; a strong sense of principals and ethics in regard to the welfare of the student-athlete; possess the ability to work independently in a multi-task environment as well as within a team oriented work group; the ability to act as a positive role model for student-athletic trainers and student-athletes alike. The successful candidate will be a person of integrity with high ethical standards and exhibit a strict adherence to NCAA, university and departmental rules and regulations. Evening and weekend work will be required. Graduate school enrollment is optional.
