John Sharpe won four NAIA National Championships during his career with the Broncs...captured the NAIA Doubles' Championship with Don Russel in three consecutive seasons (1959-61)...became the first athlete in program history to capture an NAIA National Championship in two separate events in the same season when he captured the NAIA Singles' Championship and NAIA Doubles' Championship during the 1961 season...helped the Broncs capture their first-ever NAIA National Championship in any sport during the 1961 season...earned NAIA All-American first team honors on the three occasions during his career.
