The UTPA junior saw action in 13 games where he pitched 51.1 innings for the Broncs... collected five strikeouts in seven innings against Texas State (Apr. 11)... recorded 26 strikeouts during his junior season... was a Academic All-Independent recipient.
2005-06 [Northeastern State University]
Cisper was selected in the 39th-round by the Chicago White Sox in the 2006 Major League Baseball Amateur Draft... led Northeastern State University in strikeouts while ranking sixth in that category in the Lone Star Conference... posted a 3-11 record during his sophomore season while striking out 75 hitters in 79.1 innings of action as the number-one starter for the Redmen... selected as the Lone Star Conference North Division Pitcher of the Week on April 4th, 2006, after he posted a 1-1 record while allowing only three runs in 15.2 innings of action... allowed nine hits and struck out 16 hitters during that week he captured the conference award... was a two-sport student-athlete for the Redmen where he competed in both baseball and football... cited as a two-time Academic All-Lone Star Conference performer... was a member of the Bellingham Bells of the West Coast Collegiate League in Washington where he appeared in five games, starting four of them.

Cisper was an all-around standout athlete at Locust Grove High School where he earned 10 varsity letters during his prep career - four in baseball, three in basketball and three in football... was an all-district and all-conference selection in both football and baseball during his junior and senior seasons... posted a school record for longest field goal (51 yards) on the gridiron.
