2007 [Junior Season]
Davila appeared in 31 games as a junior... pitched 37.2 innings for the Broncs... struck out 28 batters during his junior season... collected four strikeouts against Northern Colorado (Mar. 18).

2006 [Sophomore Season]
The UTPA sophomore saw action in five games where he pitched 4.1 innings for the Broncs... recorded his first career save against Texas Southern (May 3) where he struck out one hitter in one inning of action.

2005 [Freshman Season]
Davila appeared in 10 games on the mound during his rookie season with the Broncs... finished with a 6.75 earned run average in 11.1 innings pitched... struck out seven batters while holding opponents to a .273 batting average.

Weslaco High School
A product of the Rio Grande Valley, Davila earned all-district in all four seasons that he played at Weslaco High School where he accumulated three first-team and one second-team awards... selected as the Most Valuable Player at the 2004 East-West All-Star Game held at the Edinburg Baseball Stadium... was a member of the National Honor Society where he graduate with honors.

Davila is the son of Erasmo and Sylvia Davila... was born on October 23, 1985... has one sister - Elizabeth... majoring in speech communication with a minor in Spanish.
