De Leon finished his senior campaign with a 8-0 record to go along with 25 strikeouts, four complete games, and three shutouts... posted a .409 batting average including 19 RBI, to go along with five doubles, 20 runs scored, and one home run... was a first-team all-district selection and a third team All-South Texas recipient... was part of a baseball program that won two class 4A State Championships in 2000 and 2006.
