2007 [Junior Season]
In his first season in a Bronc uniform, Guzman posted a .230 batting average with 34 hits in 148 at-bats to go along with three doubles and 15 walks... drove in 18 runs while plating 13 runs in 46 games... recorded a .250 slugging percentage and a .305 on-base percentage during his junior season... posted 34 hits of 46 games, including 14 of the team's final 20 games... collected one RBI and two hits, including one double to go along with two runs scored against Prairie View A&M (Apr. 15)... connected on one hit, including three RBI to go along with one double versus Texas A&M (May 1)... recorded one hit, including two RBI against Prairie View A&M (Mar. 6).

A two-year member of The University of Texas at San Antonio baseball program, Guzman was an outstanding student where he achieved Dean's List recognition during both his freshman and sophomore seasons... received a medical redshirt during his first season with the program... competed with the Seguin Steelers in the Zaragoza Wood Bat League during the summer... participated in the National Baseball Congress World Series in Wichita, KS... led the Steelers with a .500 batting average after collecting 11 hits in 22 at-bats and one home run, seven RBI and four runs scored to go along with a .636 slugging percentage and .458 on-base percentage during the World Series.

Guzman posted a .454 batting average with six home runs, 12 doubles and three triples to go along with 39 RBI during his senior season with Richard King High School... selected as a first team all-state, all-district, All-Metro and All-Bay Area award recipient during his final campaign... ranked 49th overall out of the Texas Top 100 according to Texas Baseball News... competed in the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association Game as a senior... led the district with a .547 batting average during his junior season where he finished with seven home runs, 11 doubles and four triples to go along with 41 RBI and 18 stolen bases... garnered first team all-state, all-district, All-Metro and All-Bay Area awards during his junior campaign... concluded his career at Richard King High School with a .501 batting average to go along with 18 home runs and 112 RBI... participated in the 2004 Perfect Game/World Wood Bat Association Tournament in Jupiter, FL... earned three letters on the diamond.
