2008 Season [Sophomore]
In his first season with the Broncs, Hough notched a .274 batting average in 56 games played...drove in 42 runs while plating 208 appearances...collected 45 runs, 57 hits, eight doubles and six homeruns...stole 15 bags out of 18 attempts...posted a .399 slugging percentage, a .371 on-base percentage and a .979 fielding percentage...earned a starting spot in 55 of his 56 games played...went a perfect 1-for-1 against Jackson State (Feb. 29) while bringing in three runs...ranks second in the record books with seven at-bats in a single game...in a double-header against Jackson State (Mar. 1 - Game Two), Hough went 2-for-7 driving in two runs along with collecting two runs and two hits...in a 10-8 victory over Notre Dame at the Notre Dame Classic, was 3-for-4 while driving in two runs and recorded one double...was 2-for-6 against Texas Southern (Apr. 11) in game one of a double-header while driving in three runs along with two hits and three runs...recorded one of his six homeruns against Texas Southern (Apr. 11)...in another contest against Texas Southern (Apr. 13), Hough drove in three runs on a 2-for-5 plate appearance along with two hits, two runs and one homerun...on a road trip to Texas State (Apr. 15), went 4-for-5 while driving in two runs along with two runs... in an Apr. 20 contest against Prairie View, Hough was 2-for-3 at the plate while driving in three runs and collected two runs...received Academic All-Independent honors.
[2005-07 Season] Weatherford Junior College
Hough finished with a .295 conference batting average where he drove in 20 runs to go along with 15 stolen bases, two home runs and a .308 on-base percentage. Hough red-shirted the 2007 season.
Waxahachie High School
Hough earned six letters in football and baseball... finished with a .385 batting average en route to earning first team all-district honors... received newcomer of the year accolades in football...led the North Texas Area in stolen bases with 30 of 31 attempts... finished his career at Waxahachie High School with eight home runs... was a three-time all-district selection for football and baseball... was part of a football team that won the District 15-4A title three times... graduated with a 3.6 grade point average.
Off the Diamond
Hough is the son of Alan and Pamela Hough...has two brothers - Brad and Ben...father - Alan played catcher for the University of Texas - Arlington...brother - Brad played baseball at Angelo State University and is now playing pro ball for the River City Rascals...born on July 7, 1986...majoring in Communication Studies and Criminal Justice.
