2005 [Junior Season]
Mason appeared in just six games during his junior season due to injury...had the lowest earned run average (3.48) on the team in 32.2 innings pitched...struck out 28 batters while walking 12...pitched eight shutout innings against Arizona (Feb. 20), picking up the win.

Oklahoma State - Mason posted a 4-1 record on the mound during the 2004 season... finished with a 6.00 ERA with the Cowboys... tossed 39 innings, striking out 32 while walking nine... played with the 2004 squad that won the Big 12 Conference Tournament.

Gloucester Community College - He pitched a 5-2 record on the mound... was a member of a squad that won the Region XVIIII Title during his sophomore season... was a 40th round selection of the Cincinnati Reds in 2003... played in the summer for the South Jersey Starz and went 11-1 in two seasons... was a three-time all-star with the squad.

Cherokee High School - Mason was named first team all-state selection in his final two seasons... went 8-0 on the mound during his senior campaign... won three letters for Cherokee High School.

Personal - Mason is the son of Mike and Cindy Mason... born Dec. 3, 1982... has a brother, Joshua, and a sister, Kristen... majoring in education/kinesiology while minoring in history.
