2007 [Junior Season]
Shepherd appeared in 14 games in his first season in a Bronc uniform... made seven starts on the hill for the Broncs... finished with a 7.66 earned run average in 49.1 innings pitched... collected 36 strikeouts... posted a 2-6 record on the mound.

2005-06 [Howard Junior College]
Shepherd posted a 5-2 record during his sophomore season with Howard Junior College where he struck out 40 hitters in 44.0 innings of action... appeared in 19 total games for the Hawks as a starter and reliever... posted a 2-2 record with a 5.10 earned run average while striking out 46 hitters in 45.0 innings of action during his freshman season... selected to play in the Texas-New Mexico Junior College All-Star Game during the fall of 2005.

Leander High School
A product of Austin, TX, was a two-year lettermen for the Leander High School baseball program... played with the CenTex Bullets during the summer.

Off the Diamond
Shepherd is the son of Jerry and Debbie Shepherd... born on December 31, 2006... has one brother - Rod - and one sister - Marcie... sister, Marcie, was a standout at Howard College where she was an all-conference selection during the 2004 and 2005 seasons in softball... majoring in marketing.
