2009 Season [Junior]
Wingo made an immediate impact on the Broncs pitching staff as he made 14 appearances on the hill and started on 13 occasions...Wingo pitched four complete games with three wins...earned his first start in the second game of the season against Southern Utah (2/21), where he pitched three and one-third innings...in his first win of the season against A&M-Corpus Christi (3/8), Wingo struck out nine batters and walked one...posted a career-high 11 strikeouts against UT-Brownsville (4/8)...concluded the season with the best ERA on the club with a 5.56...pitched a complete game against UT-Brownsville on Apr. 22 as he struck out nine batters and walked two and only gave up one run...named Great West Conference Player of the Week the week of Mar. 8...pitched a total of 89 innings...pitched only one game in relief, in which he was on the mound for three and two-third innings against A&M-Corpus Christi (3/3) - struck out two and gave up one hit.

Wingo was a member of the Ranger College baseball program where he participated in the Texas New Mexico Junior College All-Star Game hosted by Baylor.

Wingo was a four-year letterman in baseball, a two-year letterman in football and earned a letter in tennis...made the All-District team in 2005...named All-District in 2005 and 2006 in baseball...received the Silver Slugger award in 2005, the Charlie Hustle award in 2004 and the Golden Glove award in 2006.

Wingo is the son of Robert and Grace Wingo...born on June 30, 1988...has one brother- Kyle...one sister - Heather...majoring in history.
