2004-05 [Junior Season]
East recorded his best all-around season during his junior campaign as he set career-highs in 17 statistical categories... posted offensive career-highs in points (192), field goals made (69), field goal attempts (144), field goal percentage (.479), free throws made (51), free throw attempts (61), free throw percentage (.836) and scoring average (7.1)... ranked third on the team in rebounds (139), rebounding average (5.1) and minutes per evening (22.7)... listed fourth on the Broncs in field goal percentage, steals (18) and blocked shots (8)... posted a career-high 20 points at the UTPA Fieldhouse versus Northern Colorado (Jan. 29)... finished 7-9 from the field in that contest, including six rebounds and two blocked shots in 23 minutes of action... collected 14 points and seven rebounds the following game against IPFW (Jan. 31), finishing 5-6 from the field for a career-high .833 field goal percentage in the game... notched 12 points, including a career-high 6-6 from the charity stripe, and eight rebounds in the Broncs' final home game of the season against Utah Valley State (Feb. 21)... recorded five games in double-digits in his junior campaign and 17 games of seven or more points... ranked seventh on the team in points and scoring average... grabbed five or more rebounds on 15 occasions, including a career-high nine rebounds at Sam Houston State (Dec. 4) and Oklahoma (Jan. 2)... shot .500 or better in 15 contests during the season... saw action in 27 games, including 16 times in the starting lineup... started in his first collegiate game against Southwest Missouri State (Nov. 26) where he posted nine points, six rebounds and a pair of steals... was the only underclassmen on the squad to lead the Broncs in scoring during the season.
2003-04 [Sophomore Season]
In his second season with the Broncs, East saw action in 22 game... scored a season-high eight points against Texas A&M - International (Nov. 25) in UTPA's home opener... collected seven points versus Texas - San Antonio (Dec. 6) and Texas - Arlington (Nov. 29)... grabbed a season-high eight rebounds, including six defensive, at Rice (Dec. 20)... posted six points and seven rebounds at Sam Houston State (Dec. 14)... finished the season with 61 boards and nine blocks... shot .735 (25-34) from the charity stripe... posted a .714 free throw percentage against Texas - Arlington (Nov. 29), draining five of seven attempts.
2002-03 [Freshman Season]
East gave the Broncs quality minutes off the bench during his freshman campaign, appearing in all 28 games during the season... scored a career-high 20 points against Texas A&M - Corpus Christi (Jan. 25) on 8-10 shooting from the floor... collected 18 points, including a pair of three-pointers, on the road at Centenary (Jan. 11) while adding five rebounds in the game... scored in double-digits on five occasions, including a trio of 10-point performances against Lamar (Dec. 21), Southwestern Assemblies of God (Feb. 4) and Morris Brown (Mar. 1)... grabbed a career-high nine rebounds in 21 minutes of action versus Central Baptist (Feb. 8)... led the Broncs with 10 blocked shots during the season.
2001-02 [Redshirted]
East redshirted during the 2001-02 season.
High School
In his final season at Lookeba-Sickles High School, East averaged 21.2 points, 13.9 rebounds, 8.5 blocked shots, 4.1 assists and 2.0 steals per game... was a first team All-Oklahoma selection... garnered Oklahoma Basketball Coaches Association All-Star honors... scored more than 1,800 points in his career at LSHS... cited as County Most Valuable Player and Conference Player of the Year on two occasions... named an all-conference selection three times... was a three-time member of the Oklahoma State All-Tournament team... led his prep squad to a 27-3 record in his final season... won four letters on the hardwood.
