2005-06 [Junior Season]
Lien concluded his first season with the Broncs with a selection to the All-Independent honorable mention squad... ranked second on the squad in points (312) and scoring average (10.4)... scored a career-high 28 points in the season opener against Sul Ross State (Nov. 18) on 13-19 shooting and pulled down 10 rebounds for his first collegiate double-double (points-rebounds)... recorded three double-doubles during the season with two of them coming against Utah Valley State (Jan. 28 / Feb. 9)... scored 19 points and grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds in his first meeting with the Wolverines and 18 points to go along with 10 rebounds in their second contest... scored 18 points against Oregon State (Dec. 28) and Northern Colorado (Jan. 14)... finished the game shooting 3-4 from behind the three-point arc against Texas State (Jan. 16) en route to finishing with a team-high 15 points... posted the squad's best shooting percentage, connecting on 43.7 percent of his shots... led the Broncs in rebounding (187) and rebounds per game (6.2)... was listed second on the squad in blocked shots (9)... appeared in 30 games, starting 27 of them as well as the final 19 games of the season... attempted 115 free throws in his junior campaign, which tied him for the highest on the squad... led the Broncs in scoring on 10 occasions, including three-straight contests on the road at Stephen F. Austin (Dec. 20), Wright State (Dec. 22) and Oregon State (Dec. 28)... was the squad's top board grabber on 10 occasions during the season, including a string of five consecutive games... was a member of the Bronc Pride 3.0 Club for the fall semester.

2003-05 [Southeastern Community College]
The Blackhawks' man in the middle finished the 2004-05 campaign, averaging 3.2 points and 2.5 rebounds per game in 31 appearances... was a member of a Southeastern Community College squad that captured the NJCAA Division I National Championship during the 2003-04 season, finishing with a 32-4 record... was the second consecutive national title for the Blackhawks, which established itself as one of the top NJCAA programs in the country... helped Southeastern Community College to a 19-11 overall record and 4-2 conference record en route to tying for the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference Division I standings championship as a sophomore... cited twice as a Region XI All-Academic selection and also garnered the Southeastern Academic Award... was a recipient of both the Loren Walker and Duttweiler Scholarships.

High School
Lien was a first teal all-conference, all-district and all-metro selection during his senior season at Waterloo Columbus High School... averaged 14.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game that season en route to leading the Sailors to a district championship... finished with a career-high 32 points in the district championship game... cited with team Most Valuable Player honors as a senior... earned second team All-WAMAC honors the previous season... earned a pair of letters on the hardwood for the Sailors.
