Parkland College
Mierzycki earned All-Conference honors both seasons at Parkland...averaged 11 points and six rebounds as a freshman...as a sophomore, averaged 15 points and eight rebounds...recorded 41 points and 20 rebounds in a single game.

High School
Mierzycki was a letter winner in basketball, baseball and football at Glenview South High School...earned All-Conference honors during his senior campaign...also earned All-Area honors along with being named team MVP and was on the honor roll...averaged 17 points and eight rebounds during his senior campaign...collected a career-high 33 points.
