2007-08 [Sophomore Season]
Smith was one of the most improved players for the Broncs during the 2007-08 campaign... Smith appeared in 20 games as a reserve off the bench... notched a career-high two three-pointers for his only points of the game against New Jersey Institute of Technology (Feb. 9)... collected five points against Texas A&M-International (Nov. 13)... recorded five points in two minutes of action versus Tulsa (Dec. 15) at the Drake University Tournament... notched his first career block versus Huston-Tillotson (Jan. 16)... collected a career-high three rebounds to go with a season-high three assists against Southland Conference-opponent Texas State (Nov. 21)... averaged 1.3 points , 0.6 assists, 0.7 rebounds and 0.1 steals per game this past season.
2006-07 Season [Freshman Season]
The UTPA freshman saw action in 14 games during his rookie campaign... earned his first collegiate start against Huston-Tillotson (Nov. 15) where he scored a season-high five points to go along with three steals and two assists in 16 minutes of action... notched three points against Texas A&M-International (Nov. 15)... averaged 0.6 points, 0.5 assists, 0.4 rebounds and 0.2 steals per game this past season.
2005-06 Season [Red-shirt Freshman]
Smith red-shirted during the 2005-06 season.
High School
Smith was a first team All-District 32-5A selection as a senior at PSJA North High School... cited as a first team All-Rio Grande Valley, all-region and all-defensive team during his final campaign with the Raiders... was part of a prep squad that captured three District 32-5A championships and a pair of area crowns... guided the Raiders to a 30-5 record in his final season... earned eight letters at PSJA North High School - four in basketball and four in track and field.
