2008-09 Season [Junior]
The three-year veteran worked his way on the starting lineup on 20 occasions this season - 19 consecutive times...collected numerous career-highs, including a career-high 21 points versus Drake (Dec. 5) at the Drake Iowa Realty Tournament along with a career-high 7-of-10 shooting from three-point range...named to the Drake Iowa Realty Tournament All-Tournament Team...ranked first amongst the squad in three-point field-goal attempts (147); second in three-point field-goals made (45); third in three-point field-goal percentage (.306), assists (54), steals (25) and blocked shots (6); fourth in points scored (162), points per game (6.0), field-goal attempts (166) and minutes played (640); fifth in field goals made (53); eighth in free throw percentage (.579); collected a career-high 10 assists versus UTSA (Dec. 18) where he also collected four rebounds...notched a season-high six boards in the second game of the season against UNLV (Nov. 18)...tied for eighth in the single-game record books in three-point field-goals made with seven shots from behind the arc against Drake (Dec. 5)...concluded his junior campaign with 6.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 0.9 steals per game...earned Dean's List Second Honors along with Bronc Pride 3.0 Club honors.
2007-08 Season [Sophomore]
Smith was one of the most improved players for the Broncs during the 2007-08 campaign... Smith appeared in 20 games as a reserve off the bench... notched a career-high two three-pointers for his only points of the game against New Jersey Institute of Technology (Feb. 9)... collected five points against Texas A&M-International (Nov. 13)... recorded five points in two minutes of action versus Tulsa (Dec. 15) at the Drake University Tournament... notched his first career block versus Huston-Tillotson (Jan. 16)... collected a career-high three rebounds to go with a season-high three assists against Southland Conference-opponent Texas State (Nov. 21)... averaged 1.3 points , 0.6 assists, 0.7 rebounds and 0.1 steals per game this past season.
2006-07 Season [Freshman]
The UTPA freshman saw action in 14 games during his rookie campaign... earned his first collegiate start against Huston-Tillotson (Nov. 15) where he scored a season-high five points to go along with three steals and two assists in 16 minutes of action... notched three points against Texas A&M-International (Nov. 15)... averaged 0.6 points, 0.5 assists, 0.4 rebounds and 0.2 steals per game this past season.
2005-06 Season [Red-shirt Freshman]

High School
Smith was a first team All-District 32-5A selection as a senior at PSJA North High School... cited as a first team All-Rio Grande Valley, all-region and all-defensive team during his final campaign with the Raiders... was part of a prep squad that captured three District 32-5A championships and a pair of area crowns... guided the Raiders to a 30-5 record in his final season... earned eight letters at PSJA North High School - four in basketball and four in track and field.
