2008-09 Season [Sophomore]
The UTPA sophomore saw action in five games donning the Bronc green and orange...scored at least two points in all contests except two...posted his first-ever assist versus Sul Ross State (Nov. 15)...collected two rebounds against Sul Ross State (Nov. 15) and two against Texas A&M-International (Feb. 4)...concluded his sophomore campaign with 1.2 points and 0.8 rebounds per game.
2007-08 Season [Freshman Season]
Trader saw action in 13 games during his freshman season with the Broncs... collected a season-high six points while going a perfect three-for-three from field-goal range at home against Huston-Tillotson (Jan. 16)... recorded two points versus Tulsa (Dec. 15)... grabbed two rebounds against Texas A&M-International (Nov. 13).
2006-07 Season [Red-shirt Freshman]
Trader red-shirted during the 2005-06 season.
High School
In his first season with the LaPorte High School basketball program, Trader guided the Bulldogs to a 25-8 record and a district runner-up finish during his senior campaign... selected as the Most Improved Player in District 23-5A that season... was a member of the Houston Lynx during the summer AAU season where he helped the squad captured a pair of tournament championships at the Great American Shootout and Ellis Davis Tournament... was a standout in the classroom where he was selected as a Texas Scholar Graduate... was a member of TRUTH (Athletes Against Drugs)... earned three letters at LaPorte High School - two in football and one in basketball.

Trader is the son of Shawn and Liz Trader... born on June 22, 1988... has one brother - Zach, who played for UTPA... majoring in business management and accounting.
