Trader concluded his junior campaign with the Broncs by averaging a career-high 7.9 points per game to go along with 2.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game... ranked second on the Broncs in free throws made (103), free throw attempts (133), third in free throw percentage (.774), fourth in field goals made (63), total points (229) and scoring average (7.9) and fifth in minutes (620), field goal attempts (132), field goal percentage (.477), rebounds (76) and rebounds per game (2.6)... scored a career-high 16 points, including a career-high 14-of-18 from the charity stripe, to go along with four rebounds and two assists against Texas State (Nov. 18)... scored 14 points, including 10-of-13 at the free throw line, in a victory over The University of Texas at San Antonio (Nov. 12) in the Alamo Dome... notched 14 points on 5-of-10 shooting against New Jersey Institute of Technology (Feb. 3) at the UTPA Fieldhouse... scored 13 points on 5-of-7 shooting to go along with four rebounds against the University of Texas-Arlington (Nov. 21)... collected 12 points, including 8-of-8 from the free throw line, to go along with three assists, two rebounds and one steals against Stephen F. 2005-06 [Sophomore Season]
In his second season with the Broncs, Trader appeared in every game during the season where he set career-highs in 12 different categories, including field goals made, field goal attempts rebounds and rebounds per game... scored a season-high 15 points twice against The University of Texas at San Antonio (Dec. 6) and University of Tulsa (Jan. 7)... led the team in scoring against the Golden Hurricane where he connected on 6-of-8 attempts from the charity stripe... recorded his first career double-double (points-rebounds) against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Feb. 27) with a 14-point, 11-rebound performance while logging a career-high 35 minutes... nearly missed out on a double-double against nationally-ranked University of Texas (Nov. 29) after collecting 10 rebounds and nine points... scored 11 points at the UTPA Fieldhouse against the Air Force Academy (Dec. 3)... collected 11 points versus St. Edward's (Feb. 4)... recorded 10 points, including a perfect 6-6 from the free throw line, against Kent State University (Nov. 26)... notched 10 points and five rebounds in the season finale against IPFW (Mar. 1)... nearly missed a double-double in the season opener against Sul Ross State (Nov. 18) with a nine-point, eight-rebound performance... ranked third on the squad in rebounds and free throw percentage and fourth in points... selected to the Academic All-Independent Team... earned an honorable mention selection to the Division I-AAA Athletics Directors Association Scholar-Athlete Team... earned Dean's List Second Honors during the spring semester... cited as a Bronc Pride 3.0 Club during both the fall and spring semesters... selected to the UTPA Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the first time in his career.

2004-05 [Freshman Season]
Trader appeared in 27 games during his freshman campaign, which was the most among all Bronc newcomers... named Independent Newcomer of the Week on Dec. 21st following an eight-point, seven-rebound performance against Texas-Permian Basin (Dec. 16) followed by a nine-point, five-steal and two-rebound versus Birmingham-Southern (Dec. 20)... recorded his first double-digit game as a Bronc against Southwestern Assemblies of God (Dec. 1) where he collected 10 points, including 6-of-9 from the free throw line... notched 10 points on 4-of-5 shooting to go along with a season-high three assists and two rebounds at Birmingham-Southern (Feb. 17)... grabbed 10 rebounds and added six points in a season-high 31 minutes of action at Utah Valley State (Jan. 11)... scored eight points versus Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Feb. 5) where he was a perfect 4-of-4 from the charity stripe... finished the season shooting 49.2 percent from the field and 62.5 perfect from the free throw line... concluded his freshman campaign, averaging 3.1 points and 2.1 rebounds per game... earned Dean's List Second Honors following the spring 2005 semester... cited as a Bronc Pride 3.0 Club member for the first time in his career.

High School
Trader was a highly-touted player coming out of a LaPorte High School program in which he set schools records in scoring and rebounding... averaged 23.0 points and 8.0 rebounds per game... was the third leading scorer among all high school players in the Houston area... recognized as a two-time first team All-District 23-5A selection... played for the Houston Lynx (AAU) where he averaged 15.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game... participated in the Adidas All-Star Game as a senior... honored as the Greater Houston High School Spring Sports Boys Basketball Scholar-Athlete of 2004 in Houston, TX.

Trader is the son of Shawn and Liz Trader... has one brother - Jacob - who is a sophomore on the UTPA men's basketball team... born on October 15, 1985... majoring in criminal justice.
