2008-09 Season [Sophomore]
Weiermiller took over the reigns of point guard in his second season donning the Bronc green and orange earning a spot on the starting lineup in all 27 games this past season...Weiermiller was the only Bronc to start all 27 contests...was one of six on the squad to compete in all 27 games...posted 15 games in double-digit points...scored a career-high 25 points versus Chicago State (Feb. 28) on 8-of-12 shooting from the field, 3-of-6 from behind the arc and 6-of-7 shooting from the charity stripe along with four rebounds, assists and steals...scored 18 points against Weber State (Dec. 22) on 6-of-19 shooting from the field, 4-of-8 from three-point range and 2-of-3 from the line along with six rebounds and five blocks...recorded a career-high seven rebounds versus NJIT (Mar. 3), while scoring 13 points...collected a career-high 15 assists versus UTSA (Dec. 18)...shot 8-of-9 (.889) from the charity stripe against Western Illinois (Nov. 29) for a career-high at the Reggie Minton Air Force Classic...named to the 2008 Reggie Minton Air Force All-Classic Team...collected four games of 40 minutes played...notched 11 games of five or more assists and three games of 10 or more...recorded at least one steal in 20 games played...concluded his sophomore campaign with 10.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 1.6 steals per game...ranked first amongst the squad in assists (152), free throw percentage (.721), three-point field-goals made (48), steals (43) and minutes played (964); second in three-point field-goal percentage (.381), points scored (288), points per game (10.7), field-goal attempts (236), three-point field-goal attempts (126); third in field-goals made (98); fourth in free throw attempts (61), free throws made (44), rebounds (77), rebounds per game (2.9); seventh in field-goal percentage (.415); at season's end, earned All-Independent Honorable Mention accolades...was awarded with the Team Captain Award at the 2009 UTPA Athletic Banquet...earned Dean's List Second Honor's...made the Bronc Pride 3.0 Club during the spring semester.
2007-08 Season [Freshman]
In his first season with the Broncs, Weiermiller ease into the back-up point guard position, appearing in the second most games (30) among all Bronc newcomers... scored a career-high 11 points, including a perfect 4-for-4 from the charity stripe versus Missouri State (Dec. 17) at the Las Vegas Tournament ... finished the season shooting 40.7 percent from the field and 35.5 from three-point range... collected eight points on 2-of-3 shooting from behind the arc in a season-high 26 minutes of action against Texas-Arlington (Feb. 5)... scored six points on a perfect 2-for-2 shooting to go along with two assists versus Texas State (Jan. 5)... finished with a 1.000 free-throw percentage... notched his first career assist and three-point field goal at the UTPA Fieldhouse against Texas A&M International (Nov. 13)... collected a career-high five assists against Huston-Tillotson (Jan. 16)... recorded 11 games with two or more assists and 12 games with two or more rebounds this past season... scored five points and added two rebounds against Alcorn State (Dec. 1) at the Montana State University Tournament ... concluded his freshman campaign, averaging 2.4 points, 1.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game.
High School
Following his graduation from Elmira Free Academy, Weiermiller attended the Basketball Academy at IMG in Bradenton, FL, which is one of the best development academics in the world that has produced over 30 former and current NBA players as well as numerous collegiate and high school All-Americans... selected as the Star-Gazette All-Twin Tiers Boys' Basketball Player of the Year following his junior and senior campaigns at Elmira Free Academy... averaged 21.1 points per game en route to earning fifth-team Class A All-State laurels during his senior season... scored over 1,000 points during his prep career and broke the program's all-time records for points and assists... averaged 22.5 points per game during his junior campaign where he was honored with seventh-team Class A All-State laurels... led his prep squad to back-to-back sectional championships... selected to play in the Empire State Games where he was a member of the Central Team and led the squad to a bronze medal... averaged 19.8 points per game in four games at the Empire State Games and finished with a game-high 24 points in the bronze medal-game against Western... added 21 points against New York City, 19 points versus Western and 15 points against the All-Star squad from Long Island during the four-game tournament for the Empire State Games... was one of the top prospects at the Five-Star Basketball Camp where he was selected to play for the White All-Stars in the NCAA League... competed as a standout on the Elmira Free Academy baseball team where he recorded a .450 batting average en route to earning All-STAC honors during his senior campaign... served as a member of the Key Club.
