The University of Texas - Pan American men's basketball program hosted its annual Broncs' Golf Outing on June 21st at the McAllen Country Club.
Over 60 golfers participated in the outing, which raised scholarship money for fifth-year players in the UTPA basketball program to assist them in their path to graduation.
The winners of the golf outing consisted of a quartet of UTPA head coaches, including Drew Scott (golf), DeAnn Craft (women's basketball), Willie Gawlik (baseball) and Ricky Vaughn (track and field). The Broncs' coaches shot 16-under en route to the victory.
Head men's basketball coach Robert Davenport and assistant coach Spencer Wright were stationed at the course's two par-3 holes where golfers had an opportunity to win $1 million dollars if they could sink a hole-in-one.
After the golf outing, a luncheon was held at the McAllen Country Club reception hall where Davenport thanked all of the golfers for their participation and support of the UTPA basketball program.
