Hensley competed in all three tournaments during the fall season... finished with a 77.4 strokes average... recorded a 22nd place showing with a two-round tally of 151 at the American Sky Golf Conference Championships... finished 44th overall with a 54-hole score of 231 at the Crown Classic Invitational... notched a 48th place finish at the Texas Cup Invitational with a two-round tally of 160.
Spring 2007
Hensley recorded the best finish of his career at the National Minority College Golf Championships where he earned a fifth-place showing with a three-round score of 216, including a career-best 69 in the first round of competition... tied for 36th overall at the Braveheart Classic with a three-round score of 257... notching a 37th-place finish at the UTSA Intercollegiate with a 54-hole tally of 227... competed in four tournaments in the spring season for the Broncs... concluded his junior campaign with a 78.3 strokes average.
Spring 2006
The UTPA sophomore made big strides during the spring season as he improved his strokes average by over two shots per round from a 78.7 to 76.6... recorded his best finish of the season at the National Minority College Golf Championships where he tied for 10th overall where he shot a season-best at that tournament with a three-round tally of 226... tied for 41st overall at the Bearkat Classic... earned 44th-place honors at the National Independent Men's Golf Championships with a score of 227... recorded his best round of the season at the Oregon Duck Invitational with a third-round score of 71 en route to shooting a 227 while finishing 48th overall.
Fall 2005
Hensley competed in a pair of tournaments for the Broncs during the 2005 fall season... finished either first or second for the Broncs in both of those tournaments... collected his best finish of the season with a 16th-place finishing at the ORU Invitational en route to finishing with a three-total of 227 during that tournament... tied for 32nd overall at the Battle on the Bend with a 54-hole total of 228 while recording his best round of the season with a 72 in the first round of the season... was the Broncs' top golfer with a 75.8 strokes average.
Spring 2005
Hensley notched his best finish of the spring season at the National Minority College Golf Championships where he placed 23rd overall while posting a three-round total of 233, including a season-low 72 in the final round at that tournament... tied for 38th overall at the Andrea Brotto Cavalier Classic hosted by the University of Virginia... posted a season-low, 54-hole total of 223 at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic... was one of the top two finishers for the Broncs twice during the season... selected as a Bronc Pride 3.0 Club member for the second consecutive season... cited as a UTPA Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the first time in his career.
Fall 2004
The UTPA freshman finished 23rd at the Stephen F. Austin Crown Classic where he shot a three-round total of 231... shot a season-low total at Byron Nelson Invitational hosted by Stanford University of 227, including a low score of 73 in the third round... competed in all four tournaments for the Broncs... was a Bronc Pride 3.0 Club member following the fall semester.
High School
Hensley made quite a name for himself around the State of Texas during his career at Van Horn High School... was the runner-up at the Texas 2A State Championships as a junior... finished third in the state during his final campaign... captured six Northern Texas Junior PGA Series events... shot a career-low 66 in July of 2003 at the Texas State Junior Golf Tournament... earned runner-up accolades at the Westcott Area Championships, Green Tree Junior Classic and Texas State PGA... captured the Big Bend Invitational and Fort Stockton Invitational titles during his junior season... was the quarterback for the football team.... earned six letters in high school - four in golf and two in football.
