Spring 2009
Moreno competed in three tournaments during the 2008-09 season...earned his best finish at the Great West Conference Championship with a three-round score of 249 (83-81-85) for a 17th place finish...finished in a tie for 31st at the National Minority Collegiate Golf Championship where he shot a low round of 76 in the opening round for a career low...concluded the spring season with an 82.1 stroke average in three tournaments played.
University of Texas-Brownsville
The Rio Grande Valley native was a member of the UTB Scorpion's men's golf team under the direction of Bob Lucio...tied for third at the UMHB Tournament.
High School
Moreno earned two letters in baseball and four in golf...was named District Champion during his sophomore campaign...was a two-time regional qualifier...member of the National Honor Society, Student Council and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
