The University of Texas-Pan American men's golf program heads to Missouri City, TX for the 2009 Husky Invitational on Sunday (Oct. 25), hosted by Houston Baptist University.

"The guys look confident and they are ready to go. It's the same golf course we played last year for the conference tournament (Great West), so we are familiar with it," said men's head golf coach, Santiago Larrea.

The Broncs are coming off a fifth-place finish at the Elkins Lake Fall Men's Golf Classic. Kevin Kirakossian was the top finisher for the Broncs with a two-day total of 140, placing him tied for fourth.

The 2009 Husky Invitational begins on Monday at 8:00 a.m. at the Sienna Plantation Golf Course. The teams will play 36 holes on Monday with the remaining 18 on Tuesday.
