2005 [Junior Season]
Porter recorded a 6-10 singles record with a 2-4 mark in Southland Conference action... recorded Southland Conference victories against Nicholls State and Southeastern Louisiana... split time between the two and three spots in both singles and doubles... teamed with Alejandro Pacheco, and notched a 1-1 conference record with a victory over Nicholls State... named a member of the Bronc Pride 3.0 Club for both semesters... earned UTPA Athletic Director's Honor Roll laurels.
2004 [Sophomore Season]
The UTPA sophomore played singles in the rotation at the one, two and three spots... posted an overall singles record of 7-12 on the season... finished 9-10 in doubles... notched a winning record of 3-2 in the number-three singles positions.
2003 [Freshman Season]
Porter finished second on the team with 16 singles wins... led the team with a combined 26 victories in both singles and doubles action... posted the best dual meet record on the team with a mark of 14-4.
High School
With 16 singles victories, Porter finished third on his team in wins... he was among the top three on the squad in overall wins with 26... posted a record of 11-4 in number 6 singles... was a highly ranked junior tennis player... ranked second in his state (Kent)... played for the Kent schools champions as a junior and again as a senior... his team was ranked nationally during his senior year... played in the British nationals during his final three seasons at Bennett Memorial... was the state champion in doubles.

Porter is the son of David and Carolyn Porter... was born on March 13, 1984... has one brother, Ben... majoring in international business.
