The University of Texas-Pan American Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and head men's and women's tennis coach Chris Taylor announced the addition of Maria Klokotzky to the program this past week.
"It is exciting when you see the vision of the direction that UTPA Athletics is headed to, along with Chris' (Taylor) vision for the tennis program," said Maria Klokotzky. "I am looking forward to working alongside Chris and helping lead the tennis program to reach new heights.
Klokotzky is a recent graduate of Fresno Pacific University where she earned a bachelor's degree in pre-law. While at Fresno Pacific, Klokotzky was a member of the women's tennis program.
The newly-named graduate assistant competed in two seasons for the Sunbirds after transferring from the University of Louisville in 2007.
