Broncs Look for SLC WIn Over TAMUCC

April 3, 2008

The University of Texas-Pan American men's tennis team will host Southland Conference opponent-Texas A&M-Corpus Christi today at 2:30 p.m. at the Orville Cox Tennis Center.

This will be the second meeting this season between the Broncs and the Islanders with Texas A&M-Corpus Christi recording a 7-0 sweep back on February 15.

The Broncs are coming off a huge 4-3 victory over Southland Conference-foe Lamar University at the Orville Cox Tennis Center on March 29. With the win, the Broncs improved to 6-8 overall and 2-2 in conference play.

The Islanders recently posted a 4-1 win over No. 62 San Diego State, improving to 7-7 on the season and 2-0 record in SLC action.

The Broncs will have one final home game against Oral Roberts on Saturday (Apr. 5) at 10 a.m. before heading on a four-game road trip.
