Men's Tennis Hosts Oral Roberts

The University of Texas-Pan American men's tennis team will look to rebound from a 6-1 setback over TAMUCC when they take on Oral Roberts on Saturday (Apr. 5) at the Orville Cox Tennis Center with a 10 a.m. start time.

With the setback, the Broncs fell to 6-9 on the season and 2-3 in conference play.

Newcomer Ashwin Vijayaragavan was the only Bronc to record a victory in singles' action when he handed Mikhail Pavlov from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi a 6-3, 6-3 setback.

The Golden Eagles are coming off a 4-1 victory over Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne on (Mar. 30) where they improved to 3-5 overall and 3-0 in the Summit League Conference.

Before heading to Rio Grande Valley, the Golden Eagles will first make a trip to Corpus Christi, TX where they will face-off against the Islanders.

The Broncs will look to finish strong in their final four games heading into the 2008 Southland Conference Tournament on April 25-27 in Nacogdoches, TX.
