Guthrie was a standout athlete for Arlington High School where he earned three letters in football and track and one letter in wrestling...recorded a time of 22.3 in the 200M dash during his senior campaign...was part of the 4x100M relay team that finished with a time of 42.3...was part of the Latin Club.

Guthrie is the son of Robbie and Reba Guthrie...has one brother - Rob...father - Rob was a free agent with the Houston Oilers...born on January 16, 1987...majoring in Kinesiology.
