UTPA two-time All-American Will Littleton placed first in the high jump at the Arkansas Last Chance Meet this past Friday (March 7) hosted by the University of Arkansas at the Randal Tyson Track Complex.

Littleton jumped a height of 7-01.75 placing him first among his competition.

"I was really excited for Will. He should have been jumping like this early on in the season but I'm glad he did well under the pressure and that he peaked at the right time. I hope it carries on into next weekend for nationals," said head men and women's track and field coach Dennis Darling.

Littleton will be preparing for the NCAA Indoor Championships this Friday (March 14) in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
