Senior Will Littleton succeeds once again at the NCAA Indoor Championships with a fifth place finish in Fayetteville, Arkansas making him an All-American for the third time.
Littleton cleared a bar of 7-02.25 on his third attempt in competition.
"I was very happy with his performance. Will is a mentally tough guy who can be in last and pull off a great jump to bring him back on top," said head men and women's track and field coach Dennis Darling of Littleton.
With the fifth place finish at the NCAA Indoor Championships, Littleton became a three-time All-American.
"I felt good about my jump; it was my best in Division I. I thought I could clear one more (bar) but I can't complain," said senior Will Littleton.
"You always feel like you want to finish higher but Will did very well today with his finish being one of the best in the Indoor Championships for UTPA," added former head men and women's track and field coach Ricky Vaughn.
The NCAA Indoor Championship marks the end of a successful indoor season for Littleton. He will continue to compete in the outdoor season unattached from the University of Texas-Pan American.
