2009 Season
Indoor - Lopez ran all four meets of the indoor season...best performances came at the Great West Conference Indoor Championships - posted best time in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:00.52 and in the one-mile run with a time of 4:23.60...earned two top-10 finishes...placed third at the GWC Indoor Championships in the 800M run with a time of 4:23.60...crossed the finish line in eighth at the UH All-Comers Meet in the one-mile run with a time of 4:29.13...Outdoor - Saw action in six meets during the outdoor season...earned three top-five finishes and three top-10 finishes...placed third in the 800M run at the Great West Conference Outdoor Championships with a time of 1:56.02...earned a fourth place finish in the 1,500-meter run at the Cactus Cup as he crossed the finish line in a time of 4:10.36...at the same meet, placed fifth in the 800M run with a time of 1:56.65...ran his best outdoor time in the 800M run at the Ohio Valley Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships as he clocked a time of 1:55.95 for an eighth place finish...posted a career-best in the 1,500M run at the GWC Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a time of 4:03.11 for a ninth place finish...at the UTEP Invitational, crossed the finish line in 10th place in the 800M run with a time of 2:12.59...earned Dean's List Second Honors and Bronc Pride 3.0 Club honors.

High School
Lopez was a four-year letterman in both track and cross country...was voted track and cross country MVP in 2007 and 2008...recieved All-District accolades in track and cross country in 2008...ran the 1,500-meter run in 4:15...ran the 800-meter run in 1:57.

Off the Track
Lopez is the son of Roel and Laura Lopez...has two brothers - Sam and Steven...has two sisters - Aly and Terry...born on May 19, 1990...majoring in Criminal Justice.
