2009 Season
Outdoor - Ramirez returned for the outdoor season and competed in six meets...recorded three top-10 finishes...collected a fourth place finish at the Great West Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the 10,000-meter run, which he did for the first time in his collegiate career...crossed the finish line in eighth in the 1,500-meter run at the Cactus Cup in a time of 4:18.40...placed ninth in the 5,000-meter run at the GWC Outdoor Championships with a time of 15:38.67...collected a pair of 11th place finishes with a one in the 1,500M run (4:28.53) and the other in the 3,000-meter run (9:05.96).
2008 Season
Cross Country - Ramirez saw action in all five cross country meets...earned four top-10 finishes...placed second at the Ricardo Romo/Six Flags Fiesta Texas Classic with a time of 15:41.0...finished fourth at the HBU/Puma Cross Country Invitational with a time of 15:19.0...earned a ninth place finish at the Great West Conference Championships with a time of 26:43.4...Indoor - Finished third in the 5,000-meter run at the Houston Indoor Invitational with a time of 15:39.50...grabbed a fifth-place finish in the 5,000-meter run at the Bayou Classic with a time of 15:28.94...Outdoor - Ramirez placed 11th in the 1,500-meter run at the Texas Twilight with a time of 4:15.38...at the Texas Twilight, Ramirez ran 9:02.53 in the 3,000-meter placing him eighth...ran his best time in the 5,000-meter run at the Rice Twilight grabbing an eighth-place finish with a time of 15:22.02.
2007 Season
Cross Country - Started his rookie campaign with a sixth-place finish at the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Relays with a time of 41:48.00...crossed the finish line in fourth at the Texas State Invitational with a time of 26:21.11...at the National Independent Championship, Ramirez finished in 12th (26:00.69) earning him a berth to the NCAA South Central Regional Championships.
High School
Ramirez was a two-time Most Valuable Player for the Bulldogs during his cross country and track and field prep career... selected as team captain and top distance runner as a junior and senior... named most promising freshman in both sports... named newcomer of the year as a sophomore in track and field... earned district champion and regional qualifier laurels as a junior... 3200-meter district champion in track and field... placed fourth at regional's and was a state qualifier as a senior in cross country.

Ramirez is the son of Miguel and Consuelo Ramirez... has one brother... born on February 17, 1989.
