High School - An all-around tremendous athlete for Guthrie High School, Guin was an All-Oklahoma selection during her senior season... nominated for McDonald's All-American award... cited as the Most Valuable Player in the Suburban Conference and Player of the Year for Logan County... was a first team Big All-City selection... led her prep squad in assists and scoring... earned 10 letters in high school - four in basketball, four in track and field and two in softball... was a member of the National Honor Roll... participated in Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Heritage Club... competed with the Oklahoma Storm and Oklahoma Wolfpack during her AAU career.

Off the Hardwood - Guin is the daughter of Willie and Jacquelyn Guin... was born on Nov. 10, 1985... has one brother, Dominick, and one sister, Sophia... her father played college football at Langston... has yet to determine a major... chose UTPA over Cincinnati and Texas Christian University.
