2003 - 2004 - In the first game of the season, Piwonka put together one of her best performances of the season, finishing with 10 points, five assists, three rebounds and three steals against Air Force (Nov. 21)... hit four of seven shots from the floor in that game, including two three-pointers... recorded her only double-double (points-assists) of the season against Prairie View A&M (Dec. 31) with 17 points and 11 assists, which was a career-high... made six field goals in that contest... posted 12 points against St. Edward's (Nov. 29), including draining a career-high three three-pointers... ranked second on the squad in assists and tied for fifth in steals... posted a career-high seven steals against Central Michigan (Nov. 21)... dished out eight assists at the UTPA Fieldhouse versus Texas A&M - International (Nov. 25).

2002 - 2003 - Piwonka averaged a career-high 7.9 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game in her sophomore season... ranked first on the squad in steals and assists... scored a career-high 18 points at IPFW (DATE)... finished in double digits in four of her final five games of the season... saw action in all 28 games, including starting 27 for the Lady Broncs.

2001 - 2002 - Piwonka saw action in 18 games as a freshman for the Lady Broncs, averaging 4.3 points, 1.6 assists and 1.4 rebounds per game... scored a season-high 13 points versus Lipscomb (Jan. 21)... posted 12 points and five assists at Southeast Missouri State (Nov. 17)... had 10 points versus Alabama - Birmingham (Dec. 8)... was a member of the Bronc Pride 3.0 Club.

High School - In her final season at Louise High School, Piwonka earned first team all-area, all-county and all-district laurels... cited as a second team All-Texas selection as a senior... awarded with the Lady Hornets' Most Valuable Player and Outstanding Scorer honors on three occasions... named Most Valuable Player in District 28-2A and County Most Valuable Player during her senior season... averaged 20.9 points, 6.9 steals, 3.7 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game that season... led her team to a 24-7 record en route to earning a trip to the area playoffs as a senior... cited as an all-tournament team selection in every tournament that she participated in as a junior and senior... was a member of the Houston Hotshots, AAU team... ran cross country for the Lady Hornets, which captured the district championship and qualified for the regional meet... competed in the regional track meet at 300 meters... was the individual state runner-up in powerlifting in 1999... was a member of a state championship powerlifting squad in 1999 and 2000.

Off the Hardwood - Piwonka is the daughter of Randy and Mary Piwonka... was born on Sept. 24, 1982... has one brother, Shane, and one sister, Lindsey... majoring in kinesiology.
