1. With the addition of seven new girls on the team, how do you feel they will impact the team by the time the season is over?
MD - "They have had a great impact. They have been the best newcomer's class since I've been here. I hope they keep going the way they do."

2. Spending your entire basketball career here at UTPA, what do you feel you gained from this experience?
MD - "I've gained a lot more than just basketball. What I've learned I will be able to use it throughout my life."

3. Who has had the greatest influence on you playing basketball?
MD - "My parents, specifically my dad. He's been watching me since I can remember."

4. What are your goals for the remainder of the season?
MD - "Well we are going to be kicking off the UBL Season so I would like to win that and I would like to finish my college career strong."

5. Being that about half the team is new and young, what role do you feel you have to play for these newcomers?
MD - "For them being young, they ask questions so I help them and show them the ropes. I tell them about my mistakes so they don't do the same."

6. Has basketball always been your passion?
MD - "Yes, since far back as I can remember."

7. What was going through your head when you saw the final score to the Schreiner game with the score of 110-49?
MD - "I thought this team is going to be something great."

8. How would you say your relationship with your teammates stands at this point?
MD - "I love my teammates. I love to be around them and hang out with them."

9. What made you want to come and play for UTPA?
MD - "When I came to visit, the coaching staff and the players made it feel like home. The University wasn't too big or too small... it was just perfect."

10. In what way do you feel that you and the team have improved since last season?
MD - "Our returnee's from last season have grown. They took what we learned from last season and have used that in this season and have passed it to the newcomers."

1. What is the first thing you pack when going on a road trip?
MD - My basketball shoes.

2. What was the last article of clothing you told yourself you'd never wear again?
MD - My old flip flops that have holes in them.

3. What was your first jersey number?
MD - 5

4. What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hit the court?
MD - It's a new game.

5. What was the last job you had that you absolutely hated?
MD - I've never had a job.

6. What was the last movie you saw in theaters?
MD - Freedom Writers

7. When was the last time you felt like a kid again?
MD - A couple days ago.

8. What was the first court you played on (collegiate) other than the UTPA Fieldhouse?
MD - Air Force Academy

9. What was the last song that you had to put on repeat because you absolutely loved it?
MD - Lose Yourself by Eminem

10. What are your first thoughts when you hear Christmas vacation?
MD - I get to see my family.

MD - I don't drink sodas.

MD - I don't watch either one.

MD - Regular

MD - Freshly squeezed

MD - Apple

MD - Fly

MD - The Cat in the Hat

MD - I can eat it all day thanks to Little Debbie.

MD - You don't those Spring Break abs

MD - Doesn't get too cold.

MD - Stays too hot.

MD - Anything my mom cooks.

MD - Something somebody brings over and can't cook

MD - You're a student-athlete.

MD - Irwin Center

MD - McNeese

1. If you had the choice of living in Batman's cave or living in Superman's home of Krypton, which would you choose?
MD - Superman's home of Krypton. I don't like bats or caves.

2. If you could choose where the next Olympics would be held, where would you host the Olympics?
MD - Anywhere I'd be at.

3. If you had the chance to nominate someone from this year's basketball team into the Hall of Fame, who would you nominate?
MD - LeKeisha (Gray) and Aleeya (Grigsby)

4. If you were given a certain amount of money, what would be your first purchase?
MD - Groceries

5. If you were given the chance to make a law, what law would you like passed?
MD - That professors cannot keep you in class any longer than 20 minutes after class is done with.

6. If you could drive one car for the rest of your life, what car would you drive (can be one that you have or would like to own)?
MD - Any car that will last me the rest of my life

7. If you could only have one thing for Christmas, what would that be?
MD - To be with my family

8. If you got the chance to appear on The Price is Right, what game would you like to play for a prize?
MD - It's In the Bag

9. If you were commissioner of the NBA or WNBA, what rules would you change?
MD - There would be no minimum age on entering the league. If you're ready to go pro then you can enter the draft

10. If you could spend your time doing good for humanity, how would you help out?
MD - I would host fundraisers and charity drives to help underprivileged families... more so kids.
