1. This is your senior year, what has playing basketball at UTPA meant to you?
JF - "It's been a challenging experience and a great opportunity."

2. What has it meant for you to go from being a walk-on to now starting in your senior season?
JF - "I tried out because I wanted to see how different college ball really was. I didn't think I would make the team. Making my first start at Wichita State was exciting as I finally accomplished one of my goals."

3. What do you go through in preparation for each game?
JF - "I prepare by listening to music, praying that I perform well and I go over the game plan."

4. What is the biggest challenge you have had to overcome in your life?
JF - "To be a confident woman."

5. How would you describe yourself as a player?
JF - "I'm a hard worker and as a player, I love defense. I also like to set screens or give that extra pass to my teammate to score."

6. What is the single best thing about being a basketball player?
JF - "Wearing a uniform and actually playing and starting during my senior year."

7. Who has had the biggest impact on your life and why?
JF - "My parents! They always tell me to keep my head up, try my hardest and not let anyone get me down. I thank them for always being there for me."

8. What is the biggest thing that a normal everyday person doesn't realize about being a college basketball player?
JF - "Practicing for hours a week and weekends, going to class and studying. Everyone thinks we have it easy, but we don't."

9. With your senior season winding down, what are your post-basketball plans?
JF - "To finish my education."

10. What will you miss most about UTPA?
JF - "I will miss my teammates, coaches, and surprisingly, the conditioning."

JF - '93 Dodge Spirit

JF - Cosmopolitan

JF - Personal items

JF - KC and JoJo

JF - "I've never done karaoke... I only perform for myself."

JF - Transporter 2

7. What is the first costume you remember wearing on Halloween?
JF - I don't remember.

8. What is the first thing that goes through your head in the morning when you wake up?
JF - Thank the Lord for another day.

JF - Wedding Crashers

JF - I've never been to one.

JF - It was a family trip from McAllen to Idaho.

JF - I can't think of one.

1. If you were a superhero, what would your superpower be?
JF - Mind control

2. If you could pick a movie star to play you in a movie, who would it be?
JF - "I like action movies, so any woman who is athletic and dangerous."

3. If you weren't a basketball player at UTPA, where would you be and what would you be doing?
JF - "Going to class at UTPA and living a boring life, because I wouldn't have been able to meet my team and friends."

4. If you could be one place in the world right now, where would you be?
JF - "Anywhere with nice weather and beautiful scenery."

5. If you could play three-on-three with anyone dead-or-alive on your team, who would your teammates be?
JF - Michael Jordan and Allen Iverson
