The University of Texas-Pan American women's basketball program and head coach Denny Downing announced the addition of Renee Golliday to the 2009-10 academic campaign.

"I really love her athleticism and the fact that she comes from a winning program that finished runner-up in the state championship in the state of California," said newly-named head coach Denny Downing. "She has so much to offer our program in years to come."

Golliday was a standout athlete at Inglewood High School (Los Angeles, CA) where she earned four letters in basketball. The newly-named Lady Bronc earned numerous awards and was a member of several clubs during her prep career.

She led her squad in numerous statistical categories and helped lead the team to its first CIF (California Interscholastic Federation) title.

Golliday is the first to be signed to the Lady Broncs basketball program for the 2009-10 academic campaign.
