In her first season with the Lady Broncs, Garcia competed in three tournaments where her best finish came out of the Jack Brown Memorial Invitational tieing for 7th in a 36-hole score of 165... tied for 60th at the UALR Golf Classic with a total score of 244... finished 52nd at the Islander Spring Classic with a three-round tally of 253.

High School Garcia was a standout athlete during her prep career in Saltillo where she was ranked third overall in the North Zone and ranked 10th in the National Mexican rankings... was an exchanged student at Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School where she finished second overall at the 2007 Girls State Golf Tournament for the Alabama High School Athletic Association...received the sportsmanship award... earned runner-up laurels in the Mexico Nationals...was a first place finisher at the Torneo National Junior Tournament.
