Kothny collected two top-20 finishes during the spring season...tied for 16th at the Great West Conference Championship where she shot 254 in 54 holes...placed ninth at the National Minority Collegiate Golf Championship.

Fall 2008
In her first season with the Lady Broncs, Kothny competed in three tournaments during the fall season...finished tied for 20th at the UC Classic...shot a low round of 74 in the second round of the UC Classic for a career low...tallied an overall score of 250 at the ORU Shootout...shot a 163 at the UAB Fall Beach Blast.

High School
Kothny finished fourth at the 5A State Championship in 2006-07...helped lead her team to be crowned District Champs from 2004-08...qualified for regionals all four years at Kingwood High School...earned District Individual Runner-up laurels during the 2007-08 campaign...member of the National Honor Society, AJGA Youth Leadership Club and KHS Chordle Choir.
