The University of Texas-Pan American women's golf program finished 9th overall at the UC Fall Invitational hosted by the University of Cincinnati this Tuesday (Sept 29) afternoon.

Rebecca De Leon led the Lady Broncs with a three-round total of 237 placing her tied for 19th overall. Not too far off was teammate Majo Camey who fired a three-round total of 241, placing her tied for 21st place.

"I felt they played well today; they came back and shot a 313 as a team. Their play was consistent," said Director of Men and Women's Golf Ofelia Lopez. "They left everything out on the golf course today. I felt we played with confidence and I know that will carry over on their next tournament."

After the final round, the Lady Broncs finished with stroke total of 976 finish ninth overall, a one spot improvement from the first day.
