The University of Texas-Pan American women's golf team collected a seventh place finish out of 15 teams at the ORU Shootout hosted by Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK on Tuesday (Oct. 2).

Finishing ninth overall, sophomore Rebecca De Leon (Mission, TX/Veterans Memorial H.S.) recorded her second top-10 finish of her Lady Bronc career as she posted a three-round tally of 231 ( 78-75-78) including a season-best 75 in the second round of competition.

San Antonio native Haley Hocott (San Antonio, TX/MacArthur H.S.) posted a 54-hole score of 234 (84-77-73) en route to tying for 14th overall. Hocott recorded a season-best 73 in the third round of competition which placed her in the all-time single-round records.

Junior Mariale Camey (Ciudad, Guatemala/University of New Orleans) fired a three-round tally of 243 (85-78-80) tying for 41st overall while Elizabeth Rodriguez (Kingwood, TX/Kingwood H.S.) finished tied for 41st overall with a 54-hole tally of 243 (82-81-80) and Bronwyn Sandberg (St. Albert, Alberta, Canada/ Bellerose Composite) tied for 54th overall with a three-round score of 248 (81-81-86), respectively.

Oral Roberts University captured the third annual ORU Shootout with a three-round score of 926 while Louisiana - Monroe (934), Texas A&M Corpus Christi (934), Missouri State (936) and Sam Houston State (937) rounded off the top-five.

The Lady Broncs will be back in action at the UAB Fall Beach Blast hosted by University of Alabama-Birmingham in Gulf Shores, AL on Monday (Nov. 5).
