2005 [Freshman Season]
Barto played primarily in the two spot for the Lady Broncs during her freshman campaign... notched a straight-set victory over Prairie View A&M in singles competition... teamed up with Silke Buksik in doubles competition to win the most matches on the team, with a record of 2-5 as the number one doubles pairing... collected a pair of doubles victories over Prairie View A&M and Laredo Community College in her rookie campaign with Buksik.

High School
During her prep career, Barto was a four-time district champion and a four-time state qualifier... named as a USTA Superchamp... played for a team that took a third place finish at state... was a Border Olympic Champion four years running... lettered in tennis for four years... also lettered in volleyball.

Barto is the daughter of Carl and Maria Barto... was born on April 18, 1986... has one brother, Mathew... majoring in nutrition.
