1. Is there added pressure being the solo senior on the team?
AP
- "No, I just try and play hard and give a good effort every match."

2. Who has had the greatest impact on your life?
AP
- "My brothers because they were the first tennis coaches I had."

3. What's your role on the team this season?
AP
- "Just to keep everyone positive and keep us up."

4. What are your goals for the season?
AP
- "I just want to win as many matches as I can."

5. What's been the biggest challenge for you athletically?
AP
- "Finding a balance and keeping up my grades."

6. What influenced you to come to UTPA to play tennis?
AP
- "That was my plan from the start. I wanted to come here and play while staying close to home."

7. What do you do to prepare for competition?
AP
- "Practice, practice, practice."

8. How do you transition from doubles play into singles play?
AP
- "I really like playing doubles. It's kind of like playing singles on half the court, you still have to play hard, and it warms you up for singles play."

9. How has the coaching staff this season impacted your game?
AP
- "They have really worked with me on improving my whole game, and I have a much better backhand then I did before."

10. What do you feel is the strongest aspect of your game?
AP
- "Definitely, my volley."
