The University of Texas-Pan American women's tennis program heads to Beaumont, Texas to face the Lady Cardinals of Lamar this Thursday (March 26) at 10:00 a.m. at the Cardinal Courts.

The Lady Broncs are coming off a 6-1 loss to the Lady Bearkats of Sam Houston State, which puts them at 1-10 for the season. UTPA's lone win came against Oral Roberts with a 5-2 victory.

In the Lady Broncs last contest, freshman Malin Andersen was the only Lady Bronc to pick up a win as she defeated Sam Houston's Elenora Kuruc 7-5, 6-0.

The Lady Cardinals are 8-5 for the season and are coming off a 5-2 victory over West Virginia. In the past five contests, Lamar is 3-2. The match against the Lady Broncs is the first of a four home match series.
