"I can't tell you how proud I am of this team and their record setting performance this year," said head men's and women's tennis coach Rob Hubbard. "The individual performances turned in on this remarkable team this season set the stage for the team's banner year."
From beginning to end, the Lady Broncs had their minds set on capturing their final game of the season and finishing with one of the best records in program history. Oliveira and Cirne-Lima led off doubles' action with a dominating 8-2 victory over Stephanie Galainena and Ashley Pane.

"The doubles point, which we have had our issues with this season turned out to be huge for us," said Hubbard. "Giana and Julia were at their best for their last match as seniors representing UTPA. It was an incredible come from behind victory for, not only seniors Silke and Megan but obviously the team. They were awesome!"
