Lady Broncs Successful in Day Three

The University of Texas-Pan American women's tennis team concluded tournament competition at the 2007 Wilson/ITA Regional Championships hosted by Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX.

In doubles action, Cirne-Lima and Oliveira suffered a (8-3) setback over Potgieter and Vander as well as a (8-6) lost to Bielikova and Chmelarova. The tandem of Cantu and Willerding fell to Bloczynska and Pritchard (8-0) but posted a win over Lifanoval and Pesic in the third round of the doubles south consolation.

Bedeau and Silke Buksik (Waiblingen, Germany/Salier Gymnasium Waiblingen) dropped their second match to Filipiak and Ormond (8-4) but collected a (8-3) victory over Chafitz and Giraldo.

The Lady Broncs will be back in action on Friday (Oct. 26) at the Ragin' Cagin' Invite hosted by Louisiana Lafayette.
