2009 Season
Indoor - Garza competed in three meets during the indoor season...Outdoor - Saw action in six meets during the outdoor season...tied her best jump at the UTEP Invitational with a leap of 5-1 for a fifth place finish...recorded three top-10 finishes...placed second at the Cactus Cup with a leap of 5-00.25...tied for seventh at the Great West Outdoor Championships with a leap of 4-10.

2008 Season
Indoor - Garza competed in three meets during the indoor track and field season...Outdoor - Competed in the high jump at the Texas State Open where Garza recorded a height of 5-1 for a sixth-place finish.

Edinburg High School
Garza was a three-year letterman in basketball and four-year letterman in track and field for the Bobcats...had a career-best of 5'7" in the high jump...held a time of 26.5 the 200M dash for a personal record...was part of the 4x400M relay that ran a time of 4:10 with an individual time of 60.0...garnered the 6th Man Award...was part of the National Honor Society.

Off the Track
Garza is the daughter of Tom and Ino Garza...has one sister - Ashley...born on December 15, 1988...majoring in physical therapy.
